The OSQ published a quarterly journal entitled The Organ Voice. Usual contents included the calendar of events, articles on various facets of organ music, descriptions of pipe organs in Queensland and elsewhere, concert reviews, CD reviews, profiles on members and other organists, news from organ builders, a message from the President, and organ-related advertisements.

Material for publication in The Organ Voice was sought from members and other readers. Contributions were accepted in many forms - legible handwriting, typed, or word processed, and were to be sent to the editor by post (hard copy or disk) or as an e-mail attachment.

With other organ societies in Australia the OSQ now contributes to producing a new journal Organ Australia which is still a quarterly publication supplied to each member. The first issue was produced in September 2005.
